The Course
Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones Jr, Club de Golf Alcanada’s stunning 18-hole course opened in 2003. and has since reached even greater heights with an extensive upgrade in 2019. Situated in the northern part of the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Alcanada is located right by the sea and the 6,499-metre layout blends naturally into the typical Majorcan landscape. In November 2019 Club de Golf Alcanada hosted the European Challenge Tour Grand Final. The academy provides individual or group training, suited to all levels of ability. And the pro shop offers golfers all the equipment and souvenirs to make the most of their visit, including top-of-the-range hire clubs. After the round, the restaurant and its dazzling terrace is an exquisite venue to taste delicious local and international cuisine, while enjoying a magnificent view of the surroundings.
The Mediterranean Golf Experience
The Alcanada golf academy, run by head professional Joan González Camarero-Nuñez, offers custom golf learning and training programmes. Hourly lessons, quick-fix or week-long programmes, TaylorMade club fitting, golf rules and etiquette, individual or group lessons may be arranged.
Stylish golf clothes in a beautiful setting: a 400-year old building with typical Mallorcan stone walls. The shop is spread over 150m2 in architecture reminiscent of a wine bodega; it is stocked with the highest quality golf clothes that remind you of where you are: Alcanada Golf Club reception and shop.
